FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Established Woman-Owned Interactive Design Firm Celebrates Five Year Anniversary (OAKLAND, Calif., August 29, 2000) - Oakland-based Isys Idea Systems, Inc. celebrates its fifth year of business today. Founders Cathy and Sally Dew could not be more pleased with the company's accomplishments at reaching this significant milestone. Isys' sales are on a steady growth curve, with revenues tripling in the past year. President Cathy Dew believes that Isys' success relies on three major factors — a passion for developing outstanding web sites, a talented creative and technical staff, and an exceptional client base. "We have been extremely fortunate to work with such great companies," she says. "Our mutual trust and respect makes a successful Internet venture possible." Isys has worked with an impressive list of companies, including Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, the Port of Oakland, Technicon Computer Services, and the recently launched education- and career-planning tool MyRoad.com. Although the firm's extensive clientele continues to grow, Isys remains focused on upholding the standards that impressed their early clients and lead to enduring relationships. "Part of our ongoing commitment is to keep our client's web sites current," says Art Director Sally Dew. "We focus on updating content as well as enhancing the site's functionality with the latest features in design and technology." Isys will be launching the second phase of MyRoad.com in September 2000, with a module for High School counselors. The firm has also been chosen as the lead developer for Blackboard Entertainment's Find the Ruby Princess, an interactive, web-based contest to launch on September 5th in conjunction with the VHS/DVD release of "The Ruby Princess Runs Away," a fanciful musical based on the Jewel Kingdom book series by Scholastic.
