The Information
Architect works closely with Design and Production on a project
team to create a positive user experience. The Information
Architect is responsible for the design of the information
structure, workflow, and navigation. Throughout the project,
the Information Architect works closely with the client to
discover and fully understand the user's needs, objectives,
and working methods. The Information Architect leads a user-centered
methodology, producing workflow diagrams, user scenarios,
flowcharts, storyboards, paper and interactive prototypes,
as well as written interaction specifications. The Information
Architect is also responsible for leading usability testing
efforts, from proposing tests to structuring and conducting
the tests and compiling the results.

Fully
qualified applicants should have the following skills and
experience:
- Minimum
of 3 to 5 years professional experience as an information
designer/architect
- Bachelors
or masters degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Psychology,
Human Computer Interaction, Information Architecture, or
related field
- Ability
to think clearly and creatively!
- Strong
organizational ability, attention to detail, and communication
skills
- Familiarity
with e-commerce systems and interactive entertainment technologies
- Team
player with a strong commitment to excellence

- Design
of information architecture and navigation for web sites
and other interactive media
- Creating
and documenting design concepts and solutions through sketches,
diagrams, maps, storyboards, rapid prototypes, and functional
prototypes
- Content
analysis
- Task
analysis, task modeling, and usage scenarios
- Learn
the client's and user's needs, objectives and practices
- Create
effective site structures
- Work
with engineering team to meet technical specs for projects
- Create
technical/functional specification documents
- Accepting
responsibility for information architecture and user interface
design of sites, including navigational rules, organization
of information, site maps, and planning as it relates to
target audience's physical experience on the web.
- Managing
the integration of site concept with visual concept contributed
by designers.
- Preparing
creative documentation describing how the proposed site
architecture, concept and design reflect the strategy and
audience.
- Communicating
with producer and production to coordinate site concept,
visual design, writing, interface and navigational structure
of site with functional aspect
